Obituary of David Russell Berghorn

Berghorn, David Russell age 56 of Totowa at rest in Manhattan on October 12, 2015. Beloved husband of Marcela Carlin. Loving father of Amanda and Olivia Berghorn of Totowa. Dear son of David John and Lucy (nee Cappizzi) Berghorn. Brother of Carol, Jackie, Dianna and the late Wanda. Dear uncle of Michael and Jerry Alfano. David is also survived by several great nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, he lived in West Paterson, before moving to Totowa in 1985. David graduated from Manchester High School and received his Bachelor’s Degree in History from Montclair State University. He was the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Clinton Inn, Tenafly. Mr. Berghorn volunteered his time at the New Jersey Food Bank. Relatives and friends may visit on Friday from 5-9 PM at Festa Memorial Funeral Home 111 Union Blvd., Totowa. Cremation is private. In memory of David, donations to the New Jersey Food Bank are welcome.
