Worst and nastiest Chinese buffet in my life. It's about eight times worse than New Braunfels buffet. I should have drove the extra 10 miles to go to the big Buffet on Goliad. The only two redeeming values were two of the Sushi's and that hot egg custard in the pastry shell that they make here.
Most of the sushi were sticking together but two were fresh.
All the battered chicken dishes were mushy.
The unbattered chicken like Teri chicken or chicken on stick were extremely dry
The egg rolls were good.
The rice was hard and uneven. The vegetables were few and overcooked.
The hot housemade egg custard was delicious. It was creamy with a flaky pastry.
Most of the salad including the ceviche, mussels, and broccoli salad did not look good.
The soups were salty and gloppy. I did like what they call seafood soup. I would absolutely never come back here and I should have went to the big place on goliad.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Eric P.Chicago, IL02918Oct 13, 2018
Food was good the only issue was NO AC it sucks I was sweating like a donkey I told the waitress and she only look at the ceiling where vent is located and I said no cool air coming out of it she looks at me and smile so what I did I smile to I paid my tab and get the hell out the steam bath that's why I give them ***

Friendly waitress staff ,very quick and on top of dirty dishes and Refills.food was ok ,they leave it out way to long or don't put the juice with the food ,so it was dry and hard as a rock.the stir fry was my main draw to try this place, however the cook thinks everything needs to be drenched In Sriracha .made the food unbearable to eat .
I would try again maybe down the way but maybe for lunch ,today's dinner was a disappointment and not worth the price after not eating majority of our platesHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mongo L.San Antonio, TX02546Jan 8, 2015
A good, solid Chinese buffet, lunch and dinner. As with most, you get a couple more shrimp entrees plus crab legs for the dinner price.
Medium-large buffet area that's well-organized. A small steak/stir-fry counter where they also have some sushi, some real fish and fake crab and calf. rolls. They have a very good Inari sushi, little pockets of fried tofu filled with rice and topped with seaweed. If there's none displayed, ask for it!
Service is always first-rate and my tea is usually hot and strong as I request it. The Jalapeno Shrimp is tasty as is a pork dish usually put out. That and beef with broccolli, ribs and Mongolian beef are the only non-chicken/shrimp items. They have a few American items but I don't pay much attention.
They also have a marvelous egg-cup pastry shell that's delish - usually hidden next to the steak. Lots of fresh fruit as a rule. And they include cheesecake with the dessert selections - get one early so it has time to defrost! And tubs of genuine Blue Bell ice cream!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jessica W.Memphis, TN2166Jul 15, 2018
This restaurant was pretty decent. It was clean and they had decent customer service. The only thing I would recommend that they have a vegetarian option or a veggie medley option for us vegetarians. The buffet seemed meat heavy.

The family and I have been here several times and each time it has been real delicious. The food is always hot and always being replenished. One thing that I am big on is serves and the wait staff are friendly and on top of things. One last thing, you should really come hungry because there's a huge selection that is good for the picky eaters like my kids.

This is some of the worst Chinese buffet food I've ever had...and I've had some bad Chinese in my time. Overpriced with a terrible selection of food and most of it looks like it's been sitting out all day. I recommend going to one of the Bill Miller restaurants within a few hundred feet of this place. Stay away from here at all cost unless you're looking for a $9 per plate laxative.

Haven't been here in years, decided to go since it was the closest Chinese buffet, walked in and it seemed like it was as packed at it once was. Went walking to check the food selection, wasn't very much. As walking close to the desert and fruit sections n, it had a smell of rodents. I got my first plate and I had the noodles, honey chicken, cheese buff and the sweet and sour chicken. The food I didn't get looked a little over cooked. The tea I got tasted a little old. It wasn't much a selection. So I just ate the first plate I got and the desert, other then that this restaurant needs a remodel maybe shampoo the carpet, and fresh paint.. maybe fix the smell.. glad I sat in the other side by the register..

When this place first opened the food was extremely good and the place was super clean. As all Chinese or Japanese waiters go your chances could be 50-50 either they can be extremely nice or they can try to push you out the door as fast as they can. That really has never bothered me, however what does bother me is that now the environment is pretty dirty, the food is always cold ,and it looks old. I don't like the fact that a bunch of tiny flies are always around the tables. That just seems really gross to me and I do not enjoy when I go that's why my husband and I stopped going when we started to notice that every time we would eat their food we would end up having stomach problems. They need to step it up and really clean their restaurant. For the most part I will no longer be eating there.

They are open on Christmas Day so they get a star for that and for the large buffet selection. The food is not great though. I'm not sure if that's because it's been sitting out awhile under heat lamps. It might be better if fresh.
