My Wards start in London 1805 with John Ward, were in London is yet to be found. Bev Sierpina as done most of this research and has kindly shared it with me and other Ward researchers. I am a Ward or was before marriage. I would love to know why John and Harriet called some of their children with such interesting names just after the Napoleonic wars. May be they liked historical names. Alvinzi certainly made me look into the name.

General Baron Josef Alvinzi born Transylvania;

January 1797 at Rivoli Italy, General Baron Josef Alivinzi fought against Napoleon with the Austrian Army.

My Alvinzi had a brother Napoleon.
