WaBa Grill

Ordered an online pickup just in time for NBA playoffs. Ordered approximately 20 mins before hand and by the time I got there food was fresh and ready to eat. The guy server provided a fairly accommodating experience, explaining other aspects of the menu and providing me with enough utensils and napkins for the family.

In terms of food quality, pretty standard in regards expectations of Waba Grill. I ordered the Steak bowl which was fairly juicy and a slight char/grill flavor to it. Veggies were just steamed and the rice was okay (I prefer sticky rice).

Would advise getting Waba sauce though or else rice/veggies might be on the drier side.

They refused to let me substitute veggies instead of rice for the chicken bowl, even though I made it very clear I was willing to pay the upgrade charge. I explained I am diabetic and cannot eat the rice as it spikes my blood sugar. I explained I feel this is discrimination against me because of my medical condition.

I asked to speak to the manager, Jolesa was very short, and very rude, and was not interested in listening to me at all, or considering my request to simply pay the upgrade from rice to veggies.

I asked the Manager, Jolesa for the number to contact customer service. She refused to give it to me, and said I'd have to look it up on my own.

Very horrible customer service experience! Can't believe WaBa Grill would allow people like this to work for them.

I hope the Owner of this restaurant reads this review. The curly hair girl at the register, she's no good for your business. She spends her time too busy talking to other employees, not friendly or cares to greet your customers, let alone say a simple thank you. Best of all; it's only when she works are you out of those pickled jalapeño/carrots. We know she's lying when she says that you guys don't have them. I've come here before when she's not working, and they were happy to provide them. I would say check on this person so she doesn't bring down your business with her! She worked at the front today on 1/24/24 morning shift!

Good location, plenty of parking, awesome and hard-working employees, good prices and of course, AWESOME food!

I can't believe they would serve an avocado like this... paid extra for nothing !!! So upset. I called and no one answered....

Giuliana and Domingo were extraordinary helpful in solving some issues that came up when I was trying to order online. Very good customer service, very quick, very clean and efficient. Couldn't be happier.

Super fresh food that came out quickly. Juliana was my server and she was incredibly helpful, kind, and informative. I asked her about the different options and her opinions, and she pointed me in the right direction. I have found a new spot to eat while I'm at school at CPP. This place is phenomenal

I placed an order online and picked up in store. Interior looked clean and the staff was helpful and asked if I wanted any additional sauces. I had a tofu mini bowl for the first time and I prefer tofu to chicken as my protein. It wasn't busy at all when I went. Overall an ok Waba Grill to go to.

Showed up at 7:55pm and they already had the doors locked.
If they changed their hours, they need to be updated on yelp and Apple Maps.
If they do close at 8pm, then this location is run by lazy workers that close the store early. Oh well, I guess they don't need the money or the business.

Delicious ribeye steak bowl . Sauces are good as well, and friendly staff. Oh... and their spicy condiments always on point.
