Movie G A stop-motion masterpiece!!! Based on the childrens book "Fantastic mr Fox by Roald Dahl 1970" it turned into somthing for every age group. This film is just a masterpiece perfectly fitting for autumn, with its very orange and brown colour pallet. An autumn must watch!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/13/24 Full Review Wesley G Join Mr. Fox on his heists as he goes through his mid-life crisis, wanting to do something Fantastic again. This movie follows him and his sassy family dealing with wacky Hijinx’s caused by the consequences of their actions. Mr. Fox, trying to relive his glory days, pursues one last heist to satisfy his hungry ‘wild animal’ desire. This leads to harrowing encounters with the farmers he steals birds from, and everyone he care about gets wrapped up in the mess. He also must deal with his responsibilities as a husband and father, reconciling with his wife for not being as good a man as he should have been. He needs to learn to connect with his son Ash, who feels incompetent enough that he constantly compares himself to his suave father and his genius cousin Kristofferson. Wes Anderson’s uniquely symmetrical style and monotone dialogue fits the spunky yet human tones of the film perfectly. This film reeks with passion, which shines through the stunning stop-motion animation, hilarious writing and voice acting, and a banger soundtrack. The running jokes and themes throughout the film enrich it deeply, allowing it to further engage and satisfy the audience upon tying up the story’s strings. The film is also permeated with excellent character moments as they overcome (or accept) their own flaws and continue onward, moving closer to the other characters. This film is truly a complete package that has (in my humble opinion) no flaws great enough to detract from the experience. I have seen it over a dozen times these last few years and consider it a masterpiece. Due to the variety of character struggles and moments, I think this is one of the rare films that any age of person could love. 10/10. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/12/24 Full Review Chase C This is a good cussing movie Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/24/24 Full Review Herbert T A complete movie, amazing experience Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/23/24 Full Review Tijs v Gorgeous visuals with an interesting plot and a nice cast of characters. Lots of little details to be seen throughout which I think is nice. Also a nice bit of comedy. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/16/24 Full Review Ali M Probably the only 10/10 film I have watched. Character development, storyline (which we can thank Roald Dahl for), the effects, the cinematography, just wow. Not only did I fall in love with this film when first watching it, but I have been able to re-watch this over and over without ever finding anything that could even be considered a flaw. The emptiness which some viewers may find in the movie I feel is Wes Anderson's classic awkwardness added into certain scenes which I feel you either love or you hate, personally I find it gives a viewer chance to imagine for themselves what each character is thinking/feeling in those moments of pause. Love the film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/28/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Deborah Ross The Spectator The animation is beautiful, the attention to detail is a thing of wonder... but the story is a mess, the script is banal and, as visually stunning as it all is, it just doesn't seem to have any kind of soul. Aug 30, 2018 Full Review Jason Bailey Flavorwire 'Fantastic Mr. Fox' may be the purest distillation of Anderson's specific, inimitable style. Jun 18, 2016 Full Review Richard Brody New Yorker Visually, the movie is a wonder, with its profusion of detail and exquisitely focussed "performances" by the figurines, whom Anderson frames in images as precisely composed as those in his live-action work. Mar 11, 2014 Full Review Emiliano Basile EscribiendoCine Once again, Wes Anderson focuses on the theme of family. It is interesting to observe the extreme detail with which he defines each of his characters. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 8/10 Jan 2, 2024 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review That Anderson made Fantastic Mr. Fox very obviously his film, both in the thematic and visual realms, in a medium comparatively out of the ordinary to his other works, speaks to his ability as an auteur. Rated: 4/4 Aug 30, 2023 Full Review Cory Woodroof For the Win (USA Today) One of the great stop-motion films in the medium’s history, Fantastic Mr. Fox is all at once a deliriously great Roald Dahl adaptation and an achievement in finding something wildly original in the adaptation process.
